DOT/FMCSA NRCME New User Agreements

On Monday, May 1, 2017, the FMCSA will be updating the agreements that users are required to accept in order to participate in the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (National Registry).

Current National Registry users will be asked, upon next login to the National Registry, to read and accept the new FMCSA IT Rules of Behavior and the new National Registry Terms of Use.

The IT Rules of Behavior outline the acceptable uses of FMCSA information technology systems, and the National Registry Terms of Use identify the user's responsibilities within the National Registry.

Going forward, users will need to review and accept the FMCSA IT Rules of Behavior every 12 months.

Any future updates to the National Registry Terms of Use will also need to be reviewed and accepted.

Certified Medical Examiners on the National Registry are required to be recertified no sooner than 9 years and no later than 10 years from the date of issuance of their medical examiner certification credential. Recertification requires that providers complete an accredited training program such as ours and pass the in-person national NRCME certification examination.
