A New National Registry

From the DOT/FMCSA:

COMING SOON - A New National Registry

FMCSA will launch a new National Registry that will feature a new look and feel on May 13, 2019. If you have created a login.gov account and successfully migrated your National Registry account, your current username and password will not be affected by this change. So that you can become familiar with the look and feel of the new National Registry, a video demonstration of the new National Registry will be posted to the FMCSA website prior to May 13, 2019.

Current National Registry Functions Limited Beginning April 22, 2019

As part of the preparation for the launch of the new National Registry:
All new National Registry registrations will be suspended from April 22, 2019 through May 12, 2019. In addition, the only action that should be performed by users of the National Registry between April 26, 2019 and May 12, 2019, is to upload results of CMV driver examinations. National Registry users should refrain from taking any other actions through their National Registry account during this time as we cannot guarantee that any actions taken, other than uploading results of examinations, will migrate to the new National Registry. If actions are taken during this time that do not migrate to the new National Registry, the user may need to repeat the action once the new National Registry is launched.

For Medical Examiners and Medical Examiner Administrative Assistants who have not created login.gov accounts and migrated their National Registry account by April 26, 2019, your National Registry account will be suspended and you will no longer have access to submit results of CMV driver examinations. We encourage you to use the step by step instructions that are available on the Help page of the National Registry website to complete the login.gov migration process.

If you are still not able to complete the login.gov migration process using the step by step instructions and need additional assistance, please complete a Technical Support Request Form.

Update: The current National Registry will be completely offline to allow for the transition to the new National Registry from May 10, 2019 through May 12, 2019. National Registry users will not have access until the new National Registry is launched on May 13, 2019.
